Logan, Idaho Wedding
Nestled within the captivating beauty of the Sawtooth Forest in Logan, Idaho, Jared and Lacye's wedding was a day to remember. This enchanting location, with its towering trees and serene atmosphere, provided the perfect backdrop for a celebration of love that felt straight out of a fairy tale.
This truly is hidden. The SouthHills Retreat Center DBA Kim Ba Yah is perfect the the "getaway" wedding, cabins and camping it allowed guests to stay there and enjoy more than just the day of.
A Modern Love Story
Jared and Lacye's journey to their wedding day is a testament to the magic of modern romance. The couple met online, their connection growing stronger with each passing message and shared dream. When it came time to tie the knot, they knew they wanted a setting as unique and special as their love story. The Sawtooth Forest, with its natural beauty and ethereal charm, was the ideal choice.
Vibrant Colors and Exquisite Details
From the moment guests arrived, it was clear that Lacye had poured her heart into every detail of the day. The vibrant colors she chose for the wedding decor stood out beautifully against the lush greens and earthy tones of the forest. Splashes of rich purples, deep blues, and vibrant pinks adorned everything from the floral arrangements to the table settings, creating a visually stunning contrast against the natural backdrop.
Lacye’s dress was a masterpiece in itself, delicate and intricate beadwork on her straps, catching the sunlight as she moved. Her bouquet, a cascade of lilies and orchids, the mothers' favorites, added a touch of whimsy and tied in perfectly with the forest setting. Jared looked equally dashing, his suit complementing the day’s color scheme and adding to the overall romantic atmosphere.
Their cake was something I have only seen in magazines and online. The three tier cake was eye-catching alone, the colors were spot on to what her flowers were but the middle tier was actually clear with a "cake topper" inside and lights illuminating from inside - it was so neat.
A Day to Remember
As Jared and Lacye exchanged vows beneath a canopy of trees, surrounded by the sounds of nature, the moment felt almost surreal. The forest seemed to come alive with their love, every rustling leaf and gentle breeze a testament to the bond they share. Their ceremony was intimate, heartfelt, and deeply personal, a reflection of their journey together.
There ceremony is hillside, overlooking the couple a truly intimate location.
The reception that followed was equally magical. Twinkling fairy lights hung from the trees, casting a warm, golden glow over the festivities. Guests dined on gourmet fare, the menu carefully curated to include locally sourced ingredients that highlighted the flavors of the region. Laughter and joy filled the air as toasts were made, stories were shared, and the newlyweds danced the night away.
DJN8
Logan, Idaho was a trek from Salmon to Logan. I actually love to travel for weddings. This was kind of neat this one was so far and my favorite DJ was there! Small world. But really no surprise DJN8 was there, he's an amazing DJ and that is his territory! I have worked with him and his wife, Annie, during dozens of weddings at this point over the years and I even photographed THEIR wedding in Salmon.
