Nick and Anna Get Married at Sweet Water Hollow

Destination Wedding in Salmon, Idaho

I have met so many wonderful couples getting married in Salmon, many with no ties to this small rural town. The beauty of this area brings to many people to this tiny town and many bringing their closest family and friends from all over. 

Nick and Anna with no personal ties to Salmon chose Sweet Water Hollow as their wedding venue. A sweet balance of travel for everyone. Salmon somehow is in the middle of the map for many. 

They had friends from Northern Idaho and family from Oregon, plus Pocatello and Salmon landed to the their destination. 

I first met these two for their engagement session a few months ago and just fell in love with these two. They were so much fun and down to earth, I was looking forward to this wedding so much. 

They held their ceremony and reception at Sweet Water Hollow and opted for a first look prior to the ceremony. These two just love one another so much and it was so sweet to see their first look. This is a special moment for the couple to share. They are seeing each other for the first time and it can often be a little emotional for at least one of them. 

Anna looked gorgeous. Her hair was freshly done by Morgin at Mountain Glamour Salon and her makeup done by the team at Sweet Cheeks Waxing & Skincare. Nick looked handsome in his cowboy hat, wedding cowboy boots and jacket. Nick got a fresh fade from Eli the Barber here in Salmon. He mentioned haircuts with some groomsmen before the wedding and I knew Eli was his guy. He said Eli came in on his day off, accommodate them and everything. 

It is so wonderful how great to hear how nice people from Salmon area. I do hear this a lot of weddings. So many wedding guests travel here they stay locally, eats in our restaurants, stay in our hotels and often take advantage of local services and adventures. The number one thing I always hear is that, "people in Salmon are so nice." 

During their ceremony their shared their owns vows. Both of them were slightly shedding sweet tears. 

After they served dinner to their guests they danced and danced. They had a fantastic DJ, Yev V. Tan. I have worked with him before at Sweet Water Hollow and both times has had some amazing music and mashups. Nick and Anna had their first dance and welcomed everyone else to the dance floor. 

It was such a beautiful summer day for Nick and Anna! I am so happy I got to be there with them.
